Abstract


Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial role in driving economic growth through entrepreneurial innovation. This paper examines how innovation within SMEs contributes to productivity enhancement, employment generation, and overall economic development. Drawing onexisting empirical studies and theoretical frameworks, the analysis highlights that innovationdriven SMEs significantly improve market competitiveness and foster regional development. However, barriers such as limited financing, weak institutional support, and technological constraints reduce their full potential. The study concludes that targeted policy interventions are essential to strengthen SME innovation ecosystems and sustain long-term economic growth.
