Abstract

The strengthening of democratic governance systems fundamentally depends on youth political participation. This study examines various dimensions of youth political engagement, including voting behavior, participation in political parties, involvement in social movements, and political expression through digital platforms. In the contemporary era, young people are influencing democratic processes not only through traditional political activities but also via online engagement. However, political apathy, institutional barriers, and a lack of trust continue to limit their participation. This paper analyzes both the challenges and opportunities and provides policy-level recommendations to enhance youth engagement in democratic governance.

3. Peer Review Process:
